In the winter of 2012, the Chance In Hell team took a break from a grueling post-production schedule to have fun and sharpen a few production techniques.

Friday The 13th: Extraction began as a short that would see Jason Voorhees stalking a group of researchers stranded near a frozen Crystal Lake during a brutal winter. The original concept would've portrayed Jason as a rugged survivalist and was to feature tense sequences utilizing the cold environment as a threat equal to Jason himself. Unfortunately, snowfall was light that winter and we were forced to re-tool the idea.

Extraction became a sort of fill-in chapter set prior to the events of Jason X. The tone shifted from horror to action.

Budget: $90
