Apparently quite a few people felt it was time to officially acknowledge my contributions to the Jacksonville film and TV community. This probably reeks of false-modesty, but I'm not one to dwell on recognition, so my peers lifted me up for a moment after 13 years of supporting other creators.
Pat Barry, Kathryn McAvoy, and Warren Skeels made the case for the film board. Endless gratitude to the board and Todd Roobin for the honor.
Perhaps the real architect of the argument was my wife and closest collaborator, Corina, who outlined the case.
