Cry For The Bad Man - WRAP

Camille Keaton doesn't fire warning shots

We wrapped filming on our feature ‘Cry For The Bad Man’ Sunday morning at 5AM.

Just two weeks ago, Kathryn and I were making repeat trips to the bank to ensure that our newly-created business could cover the necessary payments, deposits, and transfers. Jon and I were busy haggling with Camille’s agent and jumping through the SAG signatory process under the persistent threat of denial. Corina and I were scrambling to make last minute wardrobe/prop purchases and triple-checking the schedule to be sure we hadn’t overlooked any scenes.

Compared to our previous feature effort (‘Girl Of My Dreams’), this was a legit, independent production that called upon our network of professional colleagues from our commercial/TV work. Yet, I was far less stressed.

Sure, exhaustion set in after a few days, the aches and pains appeared earlier than expected, and the world threw several curveballs at us (Blue Angels flying over repeatedly, a sticky-fingered PA, last minute location changes, and rain), but nothing derailed production.

I only hope the final product can match the feeling that every member of the cast and crew left with.
